Virtual Event
Join me as I walk you through the Bossier Parish Community College Center for Advanced Manufacturing and Engineering Technology. We serve students in the college's Division of Technology, Engineering and Mathematics, and support skilled trades certification programs targeting local manufacturing. During the tour, you'll see a demonstration of our automation systems, our electronics lab and our welding lab. As we go, we’ll discuss the variety of occupations in the manufacturing industry focusing on Engineering as well as skilled trades options for students in the fields of automation and controls, electrical work, mechanical maintenance and welding and fabricating. We want participants to understand how we help students pursue a career in Engineering as well as skilled trades, both of which are projected to be in high demand in the future.
