Continental Structural Plastics: Today's Manufacturing and What's Beyond: A Tour & Discussion

Teijin Automotive Technologies is a full-service, design responsible, compression molding supplier to the automotive and transportation industries, creating lightweight, advanced composite materials to produce Class A closures, pickup boxes, EV battery carriers, structural components and more. While our primary focus is on transportation industries, we also supply Class A components to the marine industry, as well as HVAC and industrial products. In this tour of our Louisiana facility we will share how a part is made from start to finish. Students will see manufacturing workers in there day to day work activities and how they contribute to making a quality product to ship to our customers which is our primary goal.
