Virtual Event
Manufacturing Day, MFG Day, is held annually on the first Friday in October, highlighting a weeklong series of events. Southeast Michigan Community Alliance, SEMCA, will host this national event in our area to show students, parents, and teachers the amazing future of modern manufacturing careers. Employers and educators will cooperate to show the career pathways, the job realities, and the many exciting opportunities available today and in our future. As manufacturers seek to fill 4.6 million high-skill, high-tech and high-paying jobs over the next decade, MFG Day allows manufacturers a way to engage their future workforce, create their opportunities, and help our communities and future generations achieve and maintain our leadership in the global economy.
