Visit WESST on October 25 to hear from three extraordinary women who are part of a changing business landscape. Amanda Powers launched Enchanted Farms Mushrooms to provide locally-grown, high-quality gourmet and medicinal mushrooms. Chief Scientific Officer Janeth Pena leads Sandia BioTech's research team in its mission to deliver powerful fluorescence technology that drives research and diagnostics to detect cancer. Veronica Fuller, owner of Sandia Pet Products, has taken her company well beyond leashes and pet products and into contract sewing for multiple clients. Hear from all three at 12:00 pm on October 25 during a short panel discussion called, "Women and Manufacturing at WESST," followed by guided tours of their companies. The event wraps up with a few remarks at 2:00 pm. The businesses are residents of the WESST Enterprise Center, a mixed-use business incubation facility in east downtown Albuquerque.
