Students will tour Adaptive Designs, a manufacturing facility dedicated to serving children with disabilities. When children visit Adaptive Designs, designers and fabricators will collaborate to create custom-built solutions tailored to their particular challenges — no two products will be the same! On this visit, STEM-focused students will learn about the production and equipment used to manufacture innovative educational tools such as communication cards for blind children, and custom devices for those with disabilities.
