The 2024 ROBOTICON REC Foundation Aerial Drone Competition (RADC) features an exciting educational drone sporting event that focuses on hands-on, student-centered learning. Teams in RADC learn about drones, flight principles, programming, documentation and communication skills while expanding their understanding and building interest in Drone-related workforce and career opportunities. Teams at ROBOTICON will explore the new season game “Gravity”. ROBOTICON Tampa Bay, now in its 12th season, is a monthlong Manufacturing Month event featuring different robotics competitions across all types of platforms and all ages of competitors. The event is free and open to the public to introduce more youth and families to the high-energy hands-on learning competitive robotics programs make possible. Tours of FCDI's AMRoC Fab Lab, which hosts ROBOTICON, are offered throughout each event, and there will also be demos, presentations and workshops each weekend.
