The Northern Valley Career Expo brings together over 2,000 10th grade students from more than 50 high schools in Northeast North Dakota and Northwest Minnesota. A dedicated group of passionate educators, industry leaders, economic development champions, and diligent workforce organizations work collaboratively throughout the year. Their shared goal? To find ways to ignite the curiosity of our high schoolers as they explore companies, careers, and education for their next steps in training and education.

Students spend half their time at the event on the expo floor, engaging with hands-on activities from over 80 companies. The other half of their time is spent in breakout sessions hearing directly from industry professionals about their careers.
