The MI is joining forces with MFG Day Platinum Event Sponsor BASF and River Parishes Community College to host the MFG Day 2023 flagship event in Gonzales, LA.

Throughout MFG Day, over 500 middle and high school students from Ascencion Public Schools will be on the RPCC campus, getting hands-on with activities hosted by a number of local manufacturers to help them learn about modern manufacturing and the diverse, in-demand careers that exist right in their backyard. They’ll also tour RPCC’s state-of-the-art technical facilities and learn first-hand about the training and education programs created in partnership with local industry leaders where they can prepare for their future career in industry.

Concurrently, leaders from the MI, BASF, RPCC, APS, and the State of Louisiana will share with other industry and community leaders the importance of strong community partnerships in inspiring future creators and building sustainable talent pipelines that further individual opportunity, community prosperity and a more competitive manufacturing industry.
