LAMATEK, Inc. of West Deptford, NJ will host Manufacturing Day 2024 on Thursday, October 5. This year's event is a big one as it marks LAMATEK's 40th year in foam converting and fabrication! LAMATEK invites local high school students and faculty from the community to join us at our open house tour to learn about the significance of Manufacturing, not only in NJ, but across the whole country.
Our open house, which is open to local high schools, includes a tour of our facility, educational presentations, prizes, special guests, games, and lunch sponsored by LAMATEK.
This will be LAMATEK's 11th year celebrating Manufacturing Day since it was first officially proclaimed in New Jersey in October of 2012. Each year, the West Deptford manufacturer, along with many others, aims to break the stereotypes that manufacturing is dangerous and dirty, and to showcase the many rewarding careers that are available in the industry. Our goal is to educate the up and coming workforce about the benefits of manufacturing, not just as a career choice, but as an integral part of U.S. economics and consumerism as a whole.
LAMATEK is proud to be a long-time participant of Manufacturing Day and a contributing member of the manufacturing community in New Jersey.
