Students will learn how training at AMTEC can lead to local high-wage, high-demand jobs. They will also witness how manufacturing is the gateway to possibilities that have never been considered or tried.
Student activities will include:
An in-depth presentation from each AMTEC department (Welding, Precision Machining, Composites, Engineer Tech Design, and Mechatronics).
We are assembling a cell phone rest as a take-home project.
Career demonstrations from local manufacturer employers.
Learning about high-demand career opportunities where you work with your hands, have good pay and benefits, and avoid student debt.
Tours are two hours and include lunch. Limited space is available. Please reserve your preferred time slot as soon as possible.
