Impact Washington - NIST MEP: EvCC’s National Manufacturing Day 2023 (Sponsored by Impact Washington)

Students will learn how training at AMTEC can lead to local high-wage, high-demand jobs. They will also witness how manufacturing is the gateway to possibilities that have never been considered or tried. Student activities will include: An in-depth presentation from each AMTEC department (Welding, Precision Machining, Composites, Engineer Tech Design, and Mechatronics). We are assembling a cell phone rest as a take-home project. Career demonstrations from local manufacturer employers. Learning about high-demand career opportunities where you work with your hands, have good pay and benefits, and avoid student debt. Tours are two hours and include lunch. Limited space is available.
