Gallatin Economic Development Agency: MFG Day 2023

Sumner County CTE Manufacturing Pathway students will have a full day of exploring careers and and learning skills in manufacturing. The day begins with two tours of local manufacturers, Axem and Berettta, who utilize robotics, automation, and high tech equipment to manufacture their products. Students will then visit Vol State Community College where they will get a full tour of the campus with extra time spent in the Mechatronics Lab. Following a lunch sponsored by the Gallatin Economic Development Agency, students will learn lean principles and have a fun 6 Sigma activity session which includes problem solving and fun games. Lastly, the students will lean about the opportunities available through VSCC and Sumner Co. Schools Dual Enrollment program.
