Dutchess Community College: Mechatronics Lab Grand Opening & Ribbon Cutting
Dutchess Community College is pleased to announce the grand opening of the Mechatronics Lab in our new Center of Excellence for Industry & Innovation. As manufacturing grows in the Hudson Valley in areas as diverse as semiconductor manufacturing and green technologies to screen manufacturing and jet engines, Dutchess Community College has prepared to train students for the future!
The new 6,000 sq. ft. lab features specialized training areas and cutting-edge equipment for learning and production in four disciplines: Automation, Electrical, Mechanical and Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC).
The new lab supports flexible education in our well-established Electrical Technician AAS degree program while simultaneously opening up more training opportunities to support high school-to-career pathways, incumbent workers, veterans, and both full- and part-time college students.
