Owensboro Career & Technical College Tour will tour Cleveland-Cliffs Rockport steel finishing facility. Rockport Works has an 80” wide galvanizing line which is the widest in the United States. The hot-dip galvanizing and galvannealing line incorporates revolutionary proprietary technologies, including induction transition heating, which provides rapid, accurate annealing temperature control.
Technical college students will tour the facility and learn more about careers available in the steel industry.
