Cleveland-Cliffs: New Prairie and Penn High School Tour

Advanced manufacturing students will tour Cleveland-Cliffs Tek & Kote steel finishing facility. The operation hosts a Continuous Descale Cold Mill (CDCM) and Continuous Annealing Process Line (CAPL): that produces 500,000 net tons of hot-dip galvanized and galvannealed and 500,000 net tons of electrogalvanized sheet annually.

Students will tour both continuous lines and learn about careers available within a finishing facility.
