We think of Willy Wonka as an inventor, a scientist, a chef and a little bit of an oddball. But have you ever considered he was also a tradesman? Building and running a chocolate factory and a great glass elevator required some serious operational, technical and mechanical skills! Now is your chance to learn more about real careers in confectionery industry and ways to bring your own skills and trade to this fast-moving industry. In order to make all those sweet treats and stock them on store shelves, we need all kinds of skilled workers to join us in making the world a sweeter place. The Confectionery Foundation and NCA invite you to join us to learn more about confectionery industry careers during our virtual Confectionery Manufacturing Day at 2 p.m. ET on Tuesday, October 27.
