Manufacturing Day at VEKA, Tour and Meet Apprentices

VEKA Inc. will host a virtual Manufacturing Day experience on Thursday, October 1, 2020 from 10:00 to 11:00 am. VEKA’s event is part of Manufacturing Day, the annual nationwide celebration of the manufacturing industry organized by the National Association of Manufacturers. Safely accessible from your computer or mobile device, participants take a step-by-step video tour through plant operations. Experience the extrusion product story from the moment the raw material arrives at our North American headquarters until our high-quality PVC profiles are ready to ship. After the tour, meet members of VEKA’s Dual Apprenticeship program, representing areas seen during the tour: Extrusion, Tool & Die, Electrical and Production. Bring your questions for the apprentices: How long is the program? Who pays for the program? Do you still have classes in school? They will be available for questions along with other VEKA professionals. Apprenticeships give you fantastic experience with hands-on training and helps you to gain more confidence in a working environment. You earn while you learn.
