Red River Regional Council, Pembina County Job Development Authority, Walsh County Job Development Authority: Pembina-Walsh MFG Day 2023

Eight manufacturers from Pembina and Walsh counties have agreed to serve as host sites for 7th grade students from schools for the sixth annual event. A total of nine area school districts (approximately 190 students) will participate. Students visit at least two manufacturers and will be provided an opportunity to tour the facilities and hear from ambassadors about careers in manufacturing. The event is dedicated to giving students a hands-on opportunity to learn about the creators in our region and see how technical and precise manufacturing has become. The goal is to change misperceptions about the industry and build the foundation fo rthe manufacturing workforce of the future.
