National Tooling & Machining Association: Southwestern Illinois College (SWIC) Mobile CNC Trailer Open House

Sponsored by Mastercam, the Southwestern Illinois College (SWIC) Mobile CNC Trailer is coming to Kansas City during the NTMA Engage Conference to engage students of all ages and promote CNC machining and machinist careers. There are three main areas that we use the trailer to promote our program.

The trailer includes 10 laptops with Mastercam, four Tormach CNC mills and two Tormach CNC lathes. This summer we are going to add new technology to the trailer which will include a Universal Robot and a Pocket NC 5 axis CNC Mill. This event is open to school groups and youth organizations.
